A former industrial property, built in stages between 1910 and 1950, was converted for residential use. Preliminary plans were drafted and the project converted into part of Kerkkoo village's larger master plan, including dozens of detached and semi-detached houses to be built in the area. Industrial building interiors were metamorphosed into residential use according to the client's wishes. Although the buildings are protected, significant changes, such as enlarging window openings, were possible because the front building wing had previously been demolished. The main building's intermediate floor was demolished to the ridge and the stiffening rafters were replaced with a steel rod between the exterior walls.
