The main floor living area constitutes 450m2 with an additional 150m2 in the lower floor, hosting a brick-vaulted wine cellar.The original spatial hierarchy of this 19th century building was restored with the completed alterations. A series of adjacent rooms form a 40 meter long visual axis. Each room's function gradually shifts from public to private in a procession away from the entrance. The old bank elevator was modified for the apartment's private use. All materials used were authentic, such as the plaster castings utilizing traditional French methods from the 18th century.
