A south facing seaside plot hosts a group of four buildings: a main house, guest building, service building, and a sauna. The main building was constructed between two mounds allowing the basement to fit naturally. Site work was done with minimal impact on the surrounding habitat and newly filled land was covered with sedum. The buildings were entirely made of larch, including the windows, roof, and eaves. Larch was chosen so the building would develop a beautiful grey patina after one year. All rooms have a sea view. A terrace with a screen wall housing a fireplace and wood storage was built to maximize privacy from a neighbouring property closely situated to this narrow plot.
