Prefab Kide Apartment

A dwelling development by Hartela Ltd. consisting of six semi-detached houses, two detached houses, and designed according to the developers KIDE Concept (kide = crystal). Internal spaces and detailed plans were reserved for input from future occupants. The model flat and furniture designs were realized from the Ready Product families of the KIDE Concept. The model flat was decorated in cooperation with Anna-Kaisa Melvas, editor for Furnishing Matters. The model flat was an excellent product development laboratory for the schematic KIDE Concept.

Two storeys at Bulevardi

The former Mandatum Bank headquarters was converted to residential use and divided into four flats, the largest being 600m2 shared between two levels. The main floor living area constitutes 450m2 with an additional 150m2 in the lower floor, hosting a brick-vaulted wine cellar.

Loft Extension

This scheme encompasses the penthouse and newly built loft extension of an existing building in Eira, a historic villa district in Helsinki. The building was designed by architect Oskari Vilamo in 1912.

A Collectors Penthouse

A comprehensive rebuilding work carried through a penthouse originally of Classical design. Envisioned and erected by architect Lars Sonck in 1925, this historic block was the first residential building in Helsinki with a concrete post-and-beam structure.

A four floor dwelling

This detached building, a former hay storage situated in the city block's courtyard, began as a raw space. New windows were added and the existing southern window broadened to the studio's width.

Art Nouveau Remodelling

An extensive remodel and restoration to a flat in Villa Ulrika, originally designed by Gustaf Estlander in 1910. Although the overall condition was satisfactory, the space division did not meet the purposes of the residents.

Tehtaankatu Apartment

Conversions to this flat, located in a multistorey building from 1901, were made resulting from the rebuilding of sanitary systems throughout the entire building. Alterations focused primarily on the kitchen and bathroom.

The 100-acre development, which will be known as RiverRun Estates, comprises 1,258 residential units - over 600 townhouses and villas; and more than 600 apartments, a retail promenade, a school, a water themepark, a boat club and a boutique hotel.

The satellite town of Saliena, which is situated between Jurmala and Riga in Latvia10 years old. The realization of the project, which involves the creation of a proper town with workplaces, schools, and public spaces, is still ongoing. However, the first stage of the project has already proved the efficacy of the multifunctional model chosen for this development.

A south facing seaside plot hosts a group of four buildings: a main house, guest building, service building, and a sauna. The main building was constructed between two mounds allowing the basement to fit naturally.
