This new urban area in the South-East part of the Zhengzhou city the capital of Henan province in the People’s Republic of China is planned as a new CBD and residential area for the growing population demands of the city. 

 The U-shape plot in question was originally planned as a possible new location for the municipal government. As a starting block for this new area the design scheme anticipates the market demand for different office tower typologies and the size and orientation of the retail within the development. 

The massing takes advantage of the central green space and channels the prevailing wind loads while creating comfortably scaled urban plazas and pedestrian connections. 

The towers vary from 60 to 120 meters in height and use a uniform cladding and shading system in all of the buildings. The main landmark office towers plan layout is oriented towards the best landscape views, provide green sky gardens and highly efficient floor plan layouts with minimal need for corridors within any configuration.
